Fall Wildflowers on Ruffner Mountain

On my walk-about this afternoon, I initially thought there were two groups of white-petaled wildflowers…one with a deep raspberry-color center and another with a sun-yellow center.

When I came upon the bush, shown above, I was even more impressed by Mother Nature! It appears the centers begin as raspberry-colored and change to sun-yellow colored.

These bright colors partnered with the white petals brighten the browning landscape of the mountain.

Another surprise, visual gift, on the mountain :)
